This website is just a small part of an initiative by the Isle of Man Government, through the Department of Economic Development, to assist local independent retailers to capture the opportunities presented by e-commerce.
The Isle of Man Government recognises the importance of supporting and growing the island's independent retail sector, which provides residents and visitors to our beautiful island, with a varied and interesting shopping experience whilst providing valuable jobs and adding to the vibrancy of our towns and villages.
This initiative has enabled many local independent retailers to build their own professional online shops, providing customers with information about their business, location and products and enables them to reach more prospective customers locally and all around the world. It has also enabled a number of small business start ups and home working entrepreneurs to realise their dreams of starting a retail business..
